Jealousy as an aggravating factor in relationships

Everyone sooner or later comes across such a feeling as jealousy. As a rule, it occurs due to insecurity either in yourself or in your partner. Jealousy causes serious damage to the relationships of loving people. The situation should be considered from both sides.

So, a person who feels jealous of his partner is most likely not confident in himself. This may be due to a temperament, with low self-esteem. Another reason for this behavior may be the case when the jealous partner is stronger than the jealous one. Here, the desire to attract attention is expressed in the constant manifestation of suspicions, reproaches against your partner. The jealous person expects soothing words from his other half that will convince him of his own necessity. Unfortunately, not every partner will behave this way. It should be remembered that jealousy, especially in gross manifestations, causes the opposite effect. The partner tries to distance himself, to protect himself from negativity.
It is important for a jealous person to know that, unreasonably suspecting his chosen one of infidelity, you can push him to this action, even if such a thought was not allowed earlier. This is due to the fatigue of the jealous person from groundless accusations, the desire to become truly guilty. The next thing that is important to remember periodically is the well-known saying: "Forbidden fruit is sweet." So, forbidding something to your other half, including communication with the opposite sex, meetings with friends / girlfriends, separate leisure, creates a heated situation that will end extremely unfavorably.
Another question is if the jealousy is not unfounded. In this case, a serious conversation with your lover is necessary, but words and accusations must be backed up by proven facts, otherwise there is a risk of loss of trust.

Jealousy can manifest itself on various scales. If these are small hints of jealousy, unwillingness to let go of a loved one for a long time, then such a feeling can "warm up" the relationship. But in the event that jealousy becomes a kind of madness and consists in banning communication with colleagues, brothers / sisters, banning independent access to the theater, cinema, cafe, then here the jealous person will try to fence himself off from contact with a partner. The jealous person will feel depressed, there may be a loss of appetite and sleep.
In this situation, it is quite normal if a person begins to go headlong into work, to appear at home less often, to interrupt contacts and communication with loved ones.
In such cases, a frank and convincing conversation with the other half is necessary. Having gained patience, it is important to convey to the partner in a calm tone that there is no point in a relationship without trust.
Relationships imbued with jealousy are doomed to failure. There will be no pleasure, enjoyment, feelings of longing for each other in them, everything will be replaced by bitterness and fatigue.
Special attention should be paid to jealousy of ex-wives/ husbands and children from previous relationships.
It is important to be able to accept the fact that every person has a past, if the relationship has stopped, then there was no desire to support and continue them, jealousy is inappropriate. As for the zealous attitude towards children from previous marriages, it should be remembered that a child for every person is the most important thing in life, you do not need to try to take his place, otherwise there is a risk of being left alone at all.
Thus, the manifestation of jealousy is possible only occasionally and in a mild form in order to maintain a "spark" in the relationship. All other manifestations of it doom the couple to a quick separation. Bodyrub New York
